Where does Premier Source fit in the reimbursement puzzle?
In most cases Premier Source receives its referrals directly from the prescribing physician who needs assistance with getting the product approved. Premier Source will work with the patient, physician and payer to get the product authorized. During the process Premier Source keeps all the parties involved apprised of the case status through the case management process. Once approved, Premier Source provides the physician, patient and dispensing pharmacy all the information needed to get the patient on therapy.

Does Premier Source have direct contact with patients?
Depending on the type of program, Premier Source Case Managers may deal directly with patients. We recognize that this can be a trying and difficult time for patients and family members so we help to make the process of getting access to therapy as easy as possible. We help the patient understand their benefits and the process by which the drug must be approved. Our goal is to educate the patient while also helping answer any questions that arise.
