As the cost of healthcare continues to rise, it has become more difficult
for patients to obtain coverage for medical treatments that could
significantly improve their quality of life. Furthermore, life sciences
companies are developing novel therapies, which are more difficult
to bring to market and require innovative reimbursement support programs
to ensure that patients have access to their products. Seeing that
the needs of patients and manufacturers were not being adequately
met, the founders of Premier Source saw this as a prime opportunity
to make a difference.
Premier Source grew out of a desire to revolutionize the reimbursement
services industry. Historically, the reimbursement industry has consisted
of large companies that provide highly standardized solutions that
may not effectively serve client needs. Premier Source was created
to provide dynamic consulting services and reimbursement solutions
that are specifically tailored to each client. Furthermore, Premier
Source is dedicated to shifting the traditional mindset of reimbursement
services from being a cost of doing business, to a critical service
offering to patients and physicians that is also a significant potential
source of competitive advantage.
Founded in January, 2004 Premier Source is a privately owned company
based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a young, agile, and innovative
company employing personnel with a wealth of knowledge in the areas
of managed care and reimbursement. We offer expertise in both the
private insurance sector and Medicare/Medicaid policy and legislation.
We also have a keen understanding of insurance plans, benefits and
the insurance process from initial eligibility determination straight
through claim submission and the appeal process. |
